Hi again friend,
What a busy day it’s been! It seems like I started work only an hour ago, but in fact I’ve been sitting at my computer for close to eight hours now. My art therapy website is almost done, and I managed to complete a bunch of little things on my task list today—such a wonderful feeling!
It’s still quite cold here, and it looks like we’ll be getting a good amount of snow in the coming days. Finally, too! I feel like it was still autumn up until a few weeks ago.

Yesterday was lovely—lots of time spent doing nothing much. I worked on a couple knitting projects, as well as an herb drying rack I started last summer and am only now getting back to. That’s the way with projects, isn’t it? Or is that just me—starting so many projects that some of them fall by the wayside.
And Saturday, two joys: book mail from the poetry press I work for, and coffee with a friend I haven’t seen in a little while. I’m such a hermit—I love being alone too much!—and I forget just how much I enjoy sitting and chatting with others until I do it.

I also worked on my novel a bit on Saturday, but not on Sunday. I’ve just hit 6,000 words, and plan to get some more done tomorrow (Tuesday) night.
Tonight, a friend comes over to watch Bly Manor. I watched it when it came out, but she hasn’t seen it yet. I’m looking forward to seeing her, rewatching the series, and having time to finish off two more projects: a pair of mittens for my niece, and a pair of mittens for myself (both started far too long ago).
That’s all from me today. Wishing you a lovely, warm evening, wherever you are.
Stay cozy,
Catherine
P.S. what are you doing to keep warm?
