My name is Catherine Campbell

I’m a writer and artist based in the Pacific Northwest. In 2023, I established Silver Nettle Press to publish my art therapy thesis book, and have since used it to publish a full-length poetry collection, with another coming in summer 2026.

Most new nonfiction writing will be found on substack and my blog, where I share current writing projects, behind the scenes photos and notes, essays, garden updates, and mini book reviews, among other things. I also post photos, videos, and general ramblings on instagram.

My writing and art are much the same in that I don’t often stick to one style. Instead, I tend to go where the wind takes me, working with whichever themes, materials, and symbols feel right in the moment.

When I’m not writing or creating in some form, I can be found gardening, exploring the woods, baking cakes, knitting sweaters I don’t have room for, and singing to my plants.
