Hi again friend,
I hope the day is treating you well. I’m writing this to you in the afternoon, after what’s already felt like such a busy day!
This morning I woke up and went to the vet for some medication our cat needs—after a few failed attempts, he had his first dose (don’t worry, he’ll be fine!). Afterward I helped my mom clean and set up for our early Christmas dinner, which I’m very much looking forward to.

After that, I finished the last 20 pages in the book I was reading: Walk Through Walls by Marina Abramovic. This is actually my second time reading it, and I loved it just as much this time around. I’m absolutely fascinated by both her life and her work; I’ll be watching one of (or all of) her documentaries very soon!
Now I’ve just spent a good three hours editing a youtube video I filmed a few weeks ago. Every time I start editing, I have a hard time stopping—I just have so much fun with it! This will be my second video since last summer, when I filmed a “I survived grad school” video. I’d intended on filming all summer, but didn’t put out my next video until about a week ago.

Once I’m done writing and posting this, I’d like to get a short walk in. The sun is shining today, even though it’s so cold! It feels like winter is finally here.
Anyway, I’ll sign off here. I likely won’t write anything the next couple days, since I have a good number of family events to attend over the holidays, but I’ll look forward to chatting with you when I’m back.
Stay cozy,
Catherine
P.S. how did you spend your time today?
