It’s been a heck of a long time since I’ve introduced myself on here, so hello! I’m Catherine! On the second slide you’ll see just a few of the things I love in life, including knitting, storms, and haunted houses. I’d love to hear what we have in common! Reading a poem to you from my second poetry collection, Get Well Soon. She’ll be ready to order on September 16th! Little bits from my return to creating long-form content. Now that I have the time and brain space to make these longer videos again, I’m looking forward to sharing stories in a way that feels authentic to who I am. I’ve always loved making videos, but don’t always feel like I’ve had the stamina to keep up with it. But with the shift toward autumn, life is slowing down, and with it comes time to craft the kind of videos I love the most 💫 Today’s poetry bibliomancy! Certainly one of the longest titles I’ve ever seen on a poem. Catherine Owen was ahead of her time! Better late than never! I wanted to read at least one poem from Salt Bones before Get Well Soon makes its way into the world in September 💫 August is always a fever dream with bits of autumn woven in 🌾🍂 Unbox my second poetry collection with me!! Little bits of August that have brought me joy so far!! August is absolutely my favourite part of summer, because we get the little signs that autumn is on the way 🌾🍂 and there have been so many more lovely bits since I made this post that I might need to do a part two! Another episode of books on my shelf I’ve thrifted but still haven’t read 📖 A few photos from the past few days 🌼 life is reading gardening swimming & exploring. Saw the biggest beetle I’ve ever seen in my life, trundling across the pavement at dusk, but tragically there is no evidence. You’ll just have to believe me. If you look closely, you’ll see zucchini in the final slide that is miraculously four feet long!
